Taylor’s birthplace happens to be Grand Rapids in Michigan. He was training karate when one of his teachers suggested that he start taking some acting lessons as well. When Taylor’s family shifted to Southern California, he started taking up voiceover work and some small TV roles. In addition to “Summerland”, he was also seen on “The Bernie Mac Show. The young actor also did films like “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D” as well as “Cheaper by the Dozen 2”.
It was much later in the year 2007 that Taylor became popular for appearing in the hugely successful “The Twilight Saga” movie series. They are based on a massively popular book series that tells the story of how a teenage girl falls in love with a vampire and a werewolf at the same time!

Daniel and Deborah Lautner were blessed with a baby boy on the 11th of February 1992 and named him Taylor Daniel Lautner. Deborah works at a software development firm, while Daniel Lautner is a pilot with Midwest Airlines. Taylor also has a younger sister called Makena. The movie star was brought up as a Roman Catholic and has mixed heritage- Dutch, French, and German.
Taylor Lautner trained in karate from the age of 6 and earned his black belt when he was just 8 years old! Mr. Lautner balanced acting & karate while he was still playing baseball and football for his school, doing hip-hop and jazz dancing side by side.
Career
Taylor Lautner is born on the 11th of February in the year 1992. The young Taylor was ranked at number 1 in his category by the American Sports Karate Association. Taylor’s career in acting started off with series like the “Bernie Mac Show” in 2003, followed by “My Wife and Kids” in 2004. He did voiceovers for TV series such as “What’s New, Scooby-Doo”?
Taylor’s Lautner big break came in 2008 with The Twilight Saga movie series, where he was seen as Jacob Black. Taylor has earned nominations for numerous awards for the work he has done in the Twilight series. MTV Movie Award, the People’s Choice Award, plus Scream Award are a few of them. In 2011 Taylor played the lead role in the action movie “Abduction”.
He is today seen as a sex symbol and is grabbing the media’s attention day and night. The year 2010 saw the young talent being ranked as the number 2 on Glamour’s “50 Sexiest Men” in 2010, and at number 4 on the People’s list of the “Most Amazing Bodies”.
