Jaden has been attending New Village Leadership Academy which was cofounded by his parents in California. Both Jaden smith and his sister were homeschooled.
Early Life
Jaden Smith has carved a niche for himself in spite of being Will Smith’s son. He appeared with his father in the highly appreciated movie In Pursuit of Happiness that was positively received by the audiences and critics. The movie fetched him Best Breakthrough Performance at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. He also portrayed the role of Jacob in 1951 movie remake The Day the Earth Stood Still directed by Scott Derrickson in 2008. He was on stage on the 79th academy awards presenting the trophies for Best Animated Short and the Best Live Action Short with Abigail Breslin.
Career
As said above, his first movie was In pursuit of Happiness which he starred with Will Smith. The movie went on to become a hit and both Will and Jaden were highly praised for their performances. His next important venture was The Karate Kid with Jackie Chan which is remake of the 1984 movie by the same name. He has won many awards for his role in the movie including MTV Movie Awards, Young Artist Award, Kids Choice Awards. Jaden has also been into television and has done six episodes of All of Us. He also did the episode of ‘Romancing the Phone’ of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He appeared briefly in the video of Alicia Keys’s Superwoman. He has also done rapping with Justin Beiber in his song “Never say Never”. With sister Willow Smith, he has appeared as background dancer in “Whip My Hair”. His next venture is Amulet scheduled for a 2012 release.
